We had the honour of taking the wedding photos of Destiny and Billy. Wedding photography has the ability to take you all over the world and one of the greatest advantages is meeting great people and diverse cultures.

The one thing that struck me today when we did the wedding video and wedding photographs of the always-smiling bride and groom was the humbleness and utmost respect the Chinese people treated strangers with. It made a lasting impression on me. As a stranger in their home, they welcomed us as one of their own.

The irony was that most of them could not understand English. I had a crash course in a few basic words. (OK, so I cheated and wrote it on the top of my left had to easy remember and recall while shooting. Free tip for new photographers)

We managed to get some amazing wedding photos in the Swann Valley.Thank you for being such a lively and friendly couple! We enjoyed interacting with your guest. They all made us feel so at home. Our thanks to the parents of Destiny and Billy. The “red” package gifts are truly appreciated. As a gesture of good luck the bride and their parents give to people around them and close to them a red “envelope” that contains money notes. This is to provide luck to the bride and groom.
